What do you think is significant about the two trees in the center of the garden?

What do these two trees represent?

I think it shows that God is not hiding anything from them. He didn’t hide the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and wait for them stumble upon it, nor did he hide the tree of life and make them search high and low for it.
Not only did he put them both smack dab in the center where they would pass it multiple times (Imagine how often you pass through your living room in a day, that’s probably where God would have put the trees were it the House of Eden.) But he also explained quite clearly what they do. “eat this one, Live. eat that one, Die.”
No tricks, just a simple choice.
