Jacob was even more of a sinner then you have documented here, he was definitely a schemer and a liar, and worse. And yet God did not give him his just deserve, but pursued a relationship with him. Why would God bless such a lier. Married Leah and Rachel. But slept with their two maids. Yet God blessed him. Where are the moral issues? We cannot question God's "sovereign will".
